BIO IN ENGLISH:

Evading Downfall is a metalcore / melodic death metal band founded in Sarajevo in September of 2006. Founding members were Faruk Jažić (guitars) and Andrej Merkadić (vocals). After initial rehearsals, the band is joined by Alexandro Alcantara-Mulaosmanović on drums, and Vedad Livnjak on guitar. Kenan Salihbegović and Denijal Šahinović took turns as the bass players for the band. The band then starts playing live shows, mostly supporting local hardcore acts. In 2007. Evading Downfall recorded their first demo, and due to a rising number of gigs they played, the band went back to studio. Saša Džino became the new bassist for the band, and Evading Downfall records their first EP entitled „Through The Eyes Of A Martyr“. 


Some of the band's most notable shows include opening for Darkest Hour, appearance on first Sarajevo Metal Fest, and couple of gigs in Croatia.


The beginning of 2011 saw a few changes in the band's line-up: Saša Pljuco became the new vocalist, Saša Džino is replaced by Adnan Muratović (Ambrosia, Machines Of Hate), and the band is also joined by a keyboardist Armin Hodo. The band began working on their first full-length album, recording it in Radio 202, but as the aforementioned radio got shut down, finishing of the album will be postponed. 

BIO IN BOSNIAN:

Evading Downfall je formiran u Sarajevu septembra 2006. godine, a osnovali su ga Faruk Jažić - gitara i Andrej Merkadić - vokal. Nakon nekoliko proba bendu se pridružio i bubnjar Alexandro Alcantara-Mulaosmanović koji je doveo sa sobom i gitaristu Vedada Livnjaka, a na bassu su se smijenili Kenan Salihbegović i Denijal Šahinović. Bend je tada po prvi put nastupio kao support lokalnim hardcore bendovima. U to vrijeme je snimljen i prvi demo. 2007. zbog učestalih nastupa bend odlučuje da ponovo uđe u studio i snimi promo CD. Bassist benda postaje Saša Džino i bend snima EP "Through The Eyes Of A Martyr" EP.

     

Neki od najvažnijih nastupa su kao support Darkest Hour-u i učešće na Sarajevo Metal Fest-u 2010. godine, a  nastupili su i u Hrvatskoj.

  

Početkom 2011. godine došlo je do izmjena u sastavu ovog benda, novi vokal je Saša Pljuco, dužnost bassiste od Saše preuzima Adnan Muratović (Ambrosia, Machines of Hate), a pored toga u ekipu dolazi i klavijaturist Armin Hodo. U pripremi je prvi full length album na kojem bi se trebalo naći 13 pjesama. Album je trebao biti sniman u Radiu 202 iz Sarajeva ali je taj radio zatvoren tako da se i dalje radi na dovršavanju albuma.
